Benjamin Mendy plays left-back in the French professional football league. He competes for Manchester United in the Premier League in addition to the French national squad.
Mendy enrolled in the Le Havre youth academy as his first educational institution. His original three-year contract with the team was signed in 2011. Benjamin and Marseille then came to an arrangement. He made 101 competitive appearances and amassed 14 assists, which adds to his excellent resume.
Mendy joined Monaco FC in 2016 and agreed to a five-year deal. He only played a part in the 2016–17 campaign for Manchester United after being transferred there.
Benjamin joined the Premier League team in 2017. He was arrested on August 26, 2021, for rape and sexual assault. He is consequently barred from the club while the investigation is ongoing.
