John Anthony Aniston was born on July 24, 1933, he is an American actor. In July 1985, he originated the character of Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives, which he portrayed continuously for 37 years until his death in 2022.
He received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2017 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and in 2022 he received the Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Aniston was two years old, when the family left Crete for America, the family made their home in Chester, Pennsylvania, and owned a restaurant there. Aniston got a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from Pennsylvania State University.
He joined the fraternity of Alpha Chi Rho as a student at Penn State. After graduating from college, he worked as an intelligence officer for the United States Navy, first on active service in Panama and then in the reserve, rising to the rank of lieutenant commander.
