Hampus Lindholm was born in Helsingborg, Sweden, on January 20, 1994. Before moving to the NHL, Lindholm began his professional career as a player with the Rögle BK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Lindholm was chosen by the Anaheim Ducks in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Draft. On October 2, 2013, he made his NHL debut, and he rapidly rose to prominence on the Ducks’ blue line.
