Williams, David Edward is an English actor, comedian, writer, and TV personality. David Walliams was born on August 20, 1971, in Wimbledon, London, England. The BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain (2003–2007) and Come Fly With Me are where Walliams and Matt Lucas are best known for their collaborations (2010–2011). ITV’s talent competition series Britain’s Got Talent has had Walliams serving as a judge since 2012. More than 37 million copies of his children’s books have been sold globally.
In the 2007 television drama film Capturing Mary, Walliams portrayed Greville White. In the BBC One sitcom Big School, which aired from 2013 to 2014, he both wrote and starred. In writing and appearing in his own sketch comedy series Walliams “AND” Friend in 2015, he played Tommy Beresford in the BBC drama series Partners in Crime. At the 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2020 National Television Awards, Walliams won the Best TV Judge honor for his participation on Britain’s Got Talent.
