On September 22, 1994, Carlos Javier Correa Oppenheimer Jr. was born in Puerto Rico. He is a professional baseball shortstop for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball. (MLB).
He had previously played for the Houston Astros. The Astros made Correa their first-round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft.
Sandybel Oppenheimer and Carlos Oppenheimer welcomed Correa into the world in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Correa was raised in the fishing village of Barrio Velázquez in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, where his family was able to build a small home while earning a pitiful income.
When Correa was five years old, a neighbour recommended enrolling him in a youth league, the parent-pitch division, on the grounds that he enjoyed playing catch as a young child in an alley close to his home.
After his team won the 2017 World Series, Correa proposed to Miss Texas USA 2016 Daniella Rodriguez on live television. Their two pets’ names are Groot and Rocket.
