Catherine Grace Garner, an American pop singer and songwriter born on September 17, 1996 in Kirkwood, Missouri, goes by the stage name Slayyyter. She is currently a Los Angeles resident. Slayyyter was 27 years old when this story was published.
Slayyyter pursued her undergraduate studies in music at the University of Missouri. When she first started her career as a musician, writing “’80s lo-fi pop” that she also produced and edited but never released, it was a “expensive experiment.”
She eventually departed and focused solely on developing a career in music. Southern California native Ayesha Erotica, who collaborates with her most regularly, is from there.
