Kalidou Koulibaly, born on June 20, 1991, is a professional footballer who now plays as a centre-back for Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal and also captains the Senegal national team.

Koulibaly began his professional club career in 2010 with French club Metz before moving to Belgian side Genk in 2012, where he won the Belgian Cup in his first season.

In 2014, Koulibaly joined the Italian club Napoli, where he won the Supercoppa Italiana; in 2020, he won the Coppa Italia.

Kalidou Koulibaly was named to the Senegal team in 2018, followed by the World Cup the following year, and then helped his nation reach the final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Kalidou and Senegal won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021, defeating Egypt in the final.
