Litton Kumer Das was born to a Bengali Hindu family in the city of Dinajpur. He was known to be a very humble and easygoing type. He took a typical path to play cricket in Bangladesh. He participated in age-level teams while attending BKSP.

Liton Das is the first wicketkeeper-batsman in Bangladesh considered good enough to be a long-term successor to Mushfiqur Rahim.

He was born in the month of February, the 16th day in the year 1993, in Bangladesh by nationality.
