Litton Kumer Das was born to a Bengali Hindu family in the city of Dinajpur. He was known to be a very humble and easygoing type. He took a typical path to play cricket in Bangladesh. He participated in age-level teams while attending BKSP.
A cricket team consists of eleven cricketers. However, Litton is among them and such cricketers generally have three designated roles – batsman, bowler, all-rounder, and wicket-keeper. Additionally, a twelfth man is also named during the toss.
Liton Das is the first wicketkeeper-batsman in Bangladesh considered good enough to be a long-term successor to Mushfiqur Rahim.

He made his international debut for Bangladesh in June 2015. He has scored the highest individual score for Bangladesh in ODI cricket. He was born in the month of February, the 16th day in the year 1993, in Bangladesh by nationality.
