Brazilian footballer Lucas Silva Melo, also known as Tuta, competes for Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt as a center back. On July 4, 1999, he was born.
Tuta moved from So Paulo to Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2019, when he signed a four-and-a-half-year deal that would end on June 30, 2023.
Tuta left Frankfurt in August 2019 for a full season’s loan to Belgian club Kortrijk. On November 24, 2019, he started his first game for Kortrijk in the away game against Anderlecht in the Belgian First Division A, which finished in a 0-0 draw. For Kortrijk, Tuta made a total of 18 appearances and registered one goal.
Tuta initially made four appearances for the team in the first half of the season after returning to Frankfurt for the 2020–21 Bundesliga season.
David Abraham, the team captain of Eintracht, retired in January 2021, and Tuta took his place as a regular starter in the central defense alongside Martin Hinteregger and Evan Ndicka.
