Manny Machado is an American professional baseball third baseman and shortstop for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball. Machado was born on July 6, 1992, and currently plays for the Padres.
His father’s name is Manuel Machado, and his mother’s name is Rosa Machado. In August 2012, Machado made his debut with Major League Baseball. The year 2013 was Machado’s breakout season, and he finished the year by winning the American League (AL) doubles title with 51.
He also earned a position on the American League (AL) All-Star squad. In addition to that, he won a Gold Glove Award, which is given to the top fielders in the game, and he was considered one of the greatest. Machado was selected for the All-Star Game in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2022 in addition to winning his second Gold Glove in 2015.
