Robin and Mani Aldridge Murders: Where is Gene Washington Now?

Robin Christine Aldridge was an educationist for close to twenty years and was actively teaching in Albemarle County, Virginia which is an elementary school. Robin was also the mother who was murdered together with her teenage daughter, Mani Aldridge, and she was 58 years of age at the time of the murder.

Media reports have also disclosed that, in the year, 2000, the teenage girl, Mani was adopted in Ukraine by Robin Christine Aldridge to become her daughter after her unfortunate divorce from her husband. The 17 years old Mani Aldridge was passionate about playing musical instruments whiles in a local high school in Charlottesville.

The murdering incidence of Robin and his daughter was traced by several sources in December 2014 when the mother and daughter died through a fire outbreak that happened at their residence at home. Nevertheless, investigations disclosed Gene Everett Washington to be the prime suspect in the murder case.

According to investigations made by the authorities, they were able to track the missing phone of Robin in the procession of Gene Everett Washington miles away. Roni’s other missing gadgets like television were also found at Gene Everett’s apartment of which he could not deny the allegations against him after evidence was placed before him. He also confessed to having been in a sexual relationship with Roni Christine Aldridge.

Investigations into his childhood proved that he had been battling with depression and anxiety for many years which has made him to be identified as intellectually disabled. Nevertheless, Gene pleaded with the court against being sentenced to death and was therefore made to serve life in prison. Reports have also added that he is still incarcerated at the State Prison in Waverly, Virginia.
