On Thursday, Sandra Douglass Morgan made history by becoming the first Black woman to serve as the head of an NFL franchise.
Morgan is an obvious fit for the available position of Raiders president because he is a native of Las Vegas and has a ton of expertise in both Oakland, where the team will now play and the gambling sector of Nevada.
The Las Vegas Journal-Mick Review’s Akers was able to get Morgan’s internal letter to the rest of the Raiders organization, which identified Morgan as the new team president.
She takes over as president in lieu of Dan Ventrelle, who resigned after alleging that he was sacked for complaining to the NFL about a hostile work environment.
Married Morgan has one child. Don Morgan is her spouse and he plays wide receiver in American football.
