Sharron Davies daughter: meet Grace Elizabeth Redmond

Sharron Elizabeth Davies is a past English athletic swimmer who in the Commonwealth games competed for England and also represented Great Britain in the European and Olympics. She was born on November 1, 1962, in Plymouth, Devon UK.

Davies has been to 12 continuous Olympic Games, where she took part in three games and then worked in the media for BBC Sport.

Over three decades, the 1970s, 1980, and 1990s, Davies participated in three Olympic Games in a global career spanning over 20 years. After she retired from the world of sports, she ventured into media organisations and programmes. She aided the British Olympic bid by profile-raising and showing up as a voice on BBC’s Question Time, where she made a vital case for the games to be held in London in 2012.

Davies and Derek Redmond got wedded in 1994 and had two kids. The couple separated in 2000.

The 15-year-old seems to be taking the footsteps of her parents in athletics as she gained a victory in the under 17 girls heptathlon title at the Southwest school’s Championship last weekend in Exeter.
