Oliver Vanetta Lynn Jr. better known as Oliver Lynn was an American talent manager and a country music personality. Oliver Lynn was born on August 27, 1926, and he was nicknamed as Doolittle Lynn.
Oliver Lynn grew up in a coal mining community in Butcher Hollow. Oliver has no interest in coal mining activities, especially after his return from World War II as United States Army. Among his peers and neighbours, Oliver was seen to be lazy.
At the age of 21, Oliver Lynn met Loretta Lynn,, his wife while she was 6 years younger than him. They tied the knot few months after knowing each other and they are blessed with 6 children including twins. Oliver Lynn as an artist manager was very influential in his wife’s music career.
