Troy Donahue was a popular American television and film singer. He was also an actor. Troy was born on January 27, 1936. He was born in New York City.

He was born to Mr Donahue, the manager of the motion picture department of General Motors.

Troy schooled at the New York Military academy and got a good relationship with Francis Ford Coppola. When he was 18 years, he worked in a film company owned by his father, as a messenger.

He proceeded to Columbia University and graduated with a degree in Journalism.

Troy was opportune to train briefly with Ezra Stone who later moved to Hollywood. Actress Fran Bennett who signed Troy and gave him the name, Troy Donahue introduced him to agent Henry Wilson.

On the 30th of August, 2001 Troy had a heart attack and was admitted to Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. After 72 hours on admission, Troy gave up the ghost. He died at age 65.
