What Were Cepillin’s Last Words?

Ricardo González Gutiérrez, popularly known as Cepilln, was a Mexican clown, a musician, TV personality, and actor, he was born on February 7, 1946. Ricardo, who was a dentist, started painting his face, in order to help children not be terrified of him while he operated on their teeth.

Ricardo gained fame after being featured on a local TV station. The name Cepillín means “Little (tooth)Brush” in Spanish, while “cepillo” means literally “brush”, however the origin of what the nickname implies is referring to a toothbrush. He hosted El Show de Cepilln for Televisa, in 1977. The program was a comedy, instructional, and interview program that included Lou Ferrigno as a guest (who was Hulk on the popular TV show). The program was a hit in Mexico, Chile, and Puerto Rico. He also rose, became Latin America’s most well-known clown.

Cepillin filmed a video from his death bed, in which he said his last words to the world. The recipient of Cepillin’s video was identified as Manuel Razo. In the video, Cepillin wished Razo a happy birthday and concluded with the words, Thank you for your friendship. I love you very much, Thank God, and Thank you, Manuel’s parents for having such a full-time child”.
