Joseph Roland Wilkinson (born May 2, 1975) is a British comedian, actor and screenwriter. He began his comedy career in 2004, supporting Alanker and Russell Howard on his tour.
He has also appeared on numerous television shows such as Live at the Apollo and Live at the Electric and has been touring solo since 2011.
He first debuted in 2012 with Rachel Riley’s assistant, with eight out of ten cats counting down.
Since then, he has frequently become a panellist or captain of visiting teams. He is also part of a mash of two episodes of the comedy duo with Diane Morgan. In 2019, Wilkinson won a special version of the British Bake Off Celebrity (Stand Up to Cancer UK).
In 2006, Wilkinson was awarded the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year.
