Venus Ebony Starr Williams, popularly known as Venus Williams, is a professional tennis player who turned a professional on October 31, 1994, at age fourteen. Venus is a former world number one in both singles and doubles, attaining each on February 25, 2002, and June 7, 2010, respectively.
